On the largest bay of the world famous Loch Ness, at the mouth of Glen Urquhart, this is the favourite destination for 'Nessie' hunters. Visitor attractions include monster centres and shops, Urquhart Castle and the monument to John Cobb who died in 1952 while trying to break the world water speed record.
